3) Slim Jim:

A slim jim is also known as a slim shim which is one of the key apparatus used by the mobile locksmiths. It contains a steel bar which may change from a few inches to a few feet in length. The bar is jagged at the bottom and may have a curve or slope along its length. A mobile locksmith can penetrate this tool between the glass and weather stripping on a car window to open the door without the keys. The notch on the bar is used to activate the regulator arm for the car's locking mechanism. Slim jim models are to some extent altered, depending on the type of car being worked on.
